The organization is called Jammu & Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP), with its Head Office in Srinagar and regional offices in Jammu, Ladakh, and Azad Kashmir.

The members and office bearers of the Jammu & Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP), having organized to peacefully and democratically seek the independence of Jammu & Kashmir, hereby adopt this Constitution.

Biography Of Political Party
1998
Objective
The Jammu & Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) aims to achieve the peaceful independence of Jammu and Kashmir, promote unity and social welfare, encourage education and development, and foster friendship between India and Pakistan while seeking international support, including from the UN, for a just resolution of the Kashmir issue and lasting peace in South Asia.
1998
Membership
Any resident or non-resident of Jammu & Kashmir who accepts the Party’s program and constitution may become a member by completing the membership form and paying a nominal fee.
2020
Amendments
Amendments to the Constitution require the support of at least five members of the Central Working Committee and a two-thirds majority for approval.
Discipline and Complaints
Members violating Party discipline may be suspended or expelled by the President with the approval of the Executive Council.
Party Funds
Funds are raised through membership fees, donations, and subscriptions in a transparent and legal manner.
The basic membership fee is Rs. 1.
The Party functions through the following bodies
Each level elects its President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The CWC is the main policy-making body, while the Executive Council manages daily affairs under the Party President.

Party Flag
The flag has three colours:
Red (20%) – Revolution
Green (20%) – Hope and Expectation
White (60%) – Peace
A green map of Jammu & Kashmir appears in the white portion, symbolizing the people’s aspiration to restore the State’s August 13, 1947 position.
